Chewee performed at a childrens fundraiser. He did fantastic tricks to a huge audience and and even danced for the clapping and cheering crowd. It was a very special night for all.

Chewee meets American Idol Paul McDonald. Chewee had a singing moment with him. They had the best time together. He wants to see him again...maybe on stage.

Chewee and Nikki Reed are the best of friends.The two of them were like peas and carrots. She fed him a bottle of water and he kissed and hugged her. They will be friends forever.

Chewee got the chance to meet Regis Philbin on the week of his last performance on Regis and Kelly show. Chewee was thrilled and Regis said he LOVED Chewee. What a thrill it was!!!

Chewee is all dressed and ready to go to the Ball in NYC. What a night he had. He danced the waltz with his mommy and hundreds of people took pictures of him. He hopes he can go to another one next year.

Mr America helps to promote adoption Day for Bobbi and the Strays. A lot of dogs found new homes that day!

DOG SHOWS...DOG SHOWS...DOG SHOWS...

Long Island had their October Dog Show and all the boys got to enjoy the fun. Mr America brought home a first place blue ribbon and Zanizbar brought home a first place blue ribbon...It was a good day for all!

Mr. America puts on a show for the STRAYS!

Bobbi and the Strays is the organization that helps dogs find their forever home. Mr. America pulls out every trick in the book to get people to come over to see the dogs up for adoption at the Pet Plus Store in Oceanside, NY. It was a success!!!

The Boys bring home 3 first place ribbons!!!

The boys had a fantastic time at the Long Island Oyster Bay dog show. Three first place blue ribbons were awarded..GREAT JOB TO ALL!!

CHEWEE AT THE 911 MEMORIAL CEREMONIES!

Chewee attended the East Rockaway 911 Memorial Service. He stood proudly while the Ceremony began and he was so proud to be a part of a great community. While each town supervisor said their speech, the crowd was quiet and reflecting on 10 years ago. The stories of "where were you" came out and everyone sang together and pray together. It was a very moving ceremony and Chewee always adds that special canine bond with the crowd.

A lot of people came over after the ceremony to get their picture with Chewee. He also got many hugs and kisses which he loves so much.

CHEWEE MEETS "Bobbi and the Strays"!!

Chewee went the the Adoption Day at the Pet Smart in Valley Stream, NY on the morning of 9/11. He meet fantastic people who were from the organization "Bobbi and the Strays". These people were working hard to find homeless dogs a happy place to live. He met Ellen, Kristina, and Michele working very hard and he wanted to help out in any way to promote the adoption of all the dogs.

Big Chewee strutted his stuff in front of all the people in the store and then outside the store to get as much attention as possible. It was a great success and they invited Chewee to come to the next adoption day in October.

CHEWEE IS A CERTIFIED AKC THERAPY DOG!

Chewee received his official Therapy certification from the AKC. He also received a silver Medallion for his many hours of Therapy work. Chewee visits Nursing Homes, Assisted Living Homes, Hospitals, Schools and private homes to work with the elderly in recovering from an illness. Chewee also works with the Veterans who have served in the arm forces with their handicaps. Chewee is very proud to serve the public as an AKC Therapy Dog.

ZANNEE ZOOP TAKES A DIP!!!

On this Labor Day weekend Zannee decides he wants to take a dip in the Ocean. He was very happy to go into the water but when he realized he couldn't touch bottom anymore he was very happy to swim into shore. It was a great experience for him but, dad was always only a few feet away at all times.

Mr America HITS THE BEACH!!

Mr. America goes swimming in the Atlantic Ocean, well....almost.... Here he is falling asleep on the shore in the cool water. He does like to swim but, he still needs to be monitored.

CHEWEE WINS THE "SPOKESDOG" SPOT FOR LUVGEAR

Chewee WINS the spot of "SPOKESDOG" for the LuvGear Dog Clothing Company. After a very difficult voting contest Chewee won the LuvGear contest and will now be in every PETCO nationwide. This is such an honor and Chewee is thrilled to be a part of it all. Thanks to all of Chewee's fans who voted for him.

FUJI FILMS CHEWEE FOR A PILOT!!

Fuji Films came to our house and filmed Chewee all day. We went to the businesses in East Rockaway and they filmed Chewee going from store to store. Chewee was on his best behavior and then we went to the Assisted Living home and they filmed Chewee interacting with the elderly. We can't wait to see the pilot they are making.

Mr America's FIRST DOG SHOW!!!!!!

Mr. America won the hearts of the judge and all the spectators who watched him dazzle his way around the ring. Hr pranced around with his head held high and won FIRST PLACE AND WINNERS DOG Ribbons!!!! He was definitely loving every moment and he couldn't get enough of the applause and cheers. We are so proud of our little boy.

MARTHA STEWART CALLS FOR CHEWEE!!!!

Chewee films a segment for the Martha Stewart Show. Here's Chewee waiting for his cue to be interviewed by Marc Morrone for the show. Marc is an animal expert and a very funny guy. He loved Chewee the moment they met. The interview was a success and Chewee enjoyed all the animals he was introduced to. You will be seeing this segment in early Sept on the Hallmark channel/station in your area.

Mr America and Chewee have fun at the Pet Store.

A trip to the pet store is always a favorite thing to do. The boys love to go up and down each isle and check out all the animals. They are taking a a little brake here before they pick out a bone they want from the bone isle.

CHEWEE GOES TO THE MAGIC GARDEN!!!

Chewee met Carole and Paula of the Magic Garden. He saw them perform a sing-a-long and he barked, jumped and clapped along with all the children. He can't wait to see Carole and Paula again on the video we bought. It was a fun filled day for Chewee. He met a lot of boys and girls and got great hugs and kisses from them.

Chewee Visits The Carriage House Museum

Chewee had a fantastic morning viewing the antique carriages at the museum. He was really looking at the workmanship that went into each one of them. The people who worked in the Museum were terrific and gave him a tasty cookie.

MR AMERICA LEARNS TO SWIM!!!!

Mr America learned to swim this weekend. We are so proud of him. At first, he was a little nervous in the water, but then, when dad went in the water he felt fine. He swam all the way to shore and then gave the big shake off and ran back in the water for more fun. Great Going Mr America!!

Mr America receives his S.T.A.R. medallion and Certificate!

Mr America receives his gold medallion and his certificate for the America Kennel Club. This is a title for puppies who have learned basic obedience and he is our Shining STAR today! Great going Mr America.!!

JILLIAN and CHEWEE meet in MANHATTAN!!!

Chewee was in Manhattan down by the Theatre District...(where else?) and he met a new friend, her name is Jillian and she is from Maryland. What are the odds on the two of them meeting ??? She gave Chewee the biggest hug. It looks like Chewees tongue is bigger than her head!!! LOL I think they will be friends forever!!!

AN AMERICAN IDOL MEETS AN AMERICAN IDOL!!!

Famous American Idol, Robbie Rosen meets Starhavens Irresistible AMERICAN IDOL...Mr. America. At a fabulouse fourth of July celebration the fantastic Robbie Rosen performed his hit songs and Mr America got to share some Leo love. The two IDOLS were instant best friends. Mr. America hopes that he can visit again with his new friend.

CHEWEE MEETS THE "DUTCHESS OF YORK"!!!

Chewee met Sarah Ferguson and what a thrill it was. Chewee and Sarah hit it off and he was so proud when she wanted her picture taken with him. She sign her book to him and she wrote "Dear Chewee, with love Sarah, the Dutchess of York". Chewee was in heaven and he wanted me to read her book to him. Chewee felt like royality and he was on his best behavior as always.

Chewee meets WPLJ's famous COOPER LAWRENCE!!!

On 6/18/11 Chewee met the famous COOPER LAWRENCE from WPLJ Radio 95.5 with Scott and Todd. Chewee was so happy to meet Cooper he wanted to play. WPLJ had a bean bag toss and Chewee wanted to play in the worst way. He was so excited he jumped up on me and kissed me all over my face saying, "thanks for bringing me here mom". Chewee now has a new girl friend he can listen to everyday on the radio. It was a wonderfully exciting day for Chewee and COOPER.

CHEWEE LEADS THE HUCKLEBERRY PARADE

Chewee leads the Huckleberry Parade to the Village Hall with the East Rockaway's Ladies Auxilary. It was a very hot morning and Chewee was a champ marching in the parade. Chewee always supports the East Rockaway Grist Mill and all the funds that were raised go to the running of the Grist Mill. Chewee was very proud to march for his Village and he was treated with water and a hot dog when he finished the parade.

THE FINAL SHOW OF OLIVER TWIST 6/5/11

On 6/5/11 the last performance of Oliver Twist was performed. Chewee was a magnificent "Bullseye". He received a standing ovation from the audience and everyone cheered at his fantastic performance. The audiences gasps were heard when he leaped into the air twice in the scene, when Bill Sykes was killing Nancy. Oliver, played by Noah worked together with Chewee to create a true magical stage moment when they had to cling together on stage. Chewee loved working with all the actors and he had a special bond with all of them. At the cast party, the producer had wonderful things to say about him and said he looked forward to working with him again. It was a very exciting night.
